In partnership with five scientific institutions, the team collected unique data and observations on the elevation changes of Greenland’s ice sheet, as well as rare in situ samples of snow and fjord water to investigate the influence of ice sheet melting on dust input to the ecosystem.
The Nanok Expedition in Greenland in 2022 was a six-month ice triathlon led by adventurers and explorers Gilles Denis and Nathan Goffart.
