The goal was to study the impact of glacial termini (both marine and terrestrial) on ecosystems and marine biodiversity in an environment as fascinating as it is hostile.
The water samples were filtered using specific methods, such as Dissolved Organic Carbon (DOC) analysis and Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) spectrometry, allowing us to gain insights into the chemical composition of the fjord waters and the underlying biochemical reactions that drive productivity.
